Some of us are confused by works of contemporary art. The seemingly complex terminology and our own uncertainty about the “correct” interpretation of art objects alienate us from the world of contemporary art.
The intensive will give you a basic navigation in styles, schools and trends of contemporary art and immerse you in socio-cultural and artistic contexts. You will be able to adjust your spectator’s optics and formulate your own attitude to what you see and experience.
The course will help you to overcome the distance between you and actual artistic practices and make the distant and incomprehensible close and available for perception.
