Art mentoring. an artist development strategy

Many people starting out on their creative journey, as well as artists who want to rethink their activities in the field of contemporary art experience problems in assessing their practice, realizing their strengths and weaknesses, and identifying the necessary resources. Professional mentoring provides an opportunity to move to the next level and determine the vector of their development.

This medium-term program allows to analyze the participant’s resources, to identify potential points of development, to give confidence and awareness in the artistic practice.

Objective: personal examination of the art practice of each participant, assisting each in the formation of his/her artistic identity, the development of skills of self-presentation and positioning. The program will help to form a meaningful algorithm of actions when creating your own art projects.

It is structured in a format of webinars, where participants not only receive new information, but also participate in group discussions, thereby strengthening their knowledge and developing skills of critical analysis. Oral and written individual consultations are also provided, where each course participant gets a personal result.

In particular, work with materials is carried out (formation of own artistic vision and method, analytics, development of critical thinking, skills of self-presentation, etc), as a result of which the participants of the Intensive receive a set of materials ready to be used in the various tasks of a contemporary artist.
